Announced at E3 this year is the latest version of the Xbox 360. It’s a bit smaller, a lot quieter and now it has the hard drive inside the system just like the PS3. I doubt Microsoft will let you upgrade it like Sony does though, they’re too damn greedy, but since the system comes with a 250gb drive it’s not a big deal for most people.
Even though people are calling it a slim edition it’s still bigger than a stack of wedding napkins and still weighs about the same as the older style 360. Personally I don’t care WHAT it looks like as long as they’ve fixed the damn red ring of death! With over 5 years of development time I sure hope they’ve made some good improvements.
So i heard today on some tech report that the new slim xbox 360 will not have the Red Ring of death. This was leaked online apparently - Microsoft had remove the red lights from their new xboxes thus – it cannot show that it is overheating..?? so what happens when it overheats..?? does it still stop playing..?? or does it go on – till it burns itself dead..??
While the wife was getting her women vitamins i came across this while waiting for her in Starbucks – and since the buddy is going old school these days with getting those pinball machine in his basement – i figured he would appreciate these for his birthday. I mean who doesn’t love the old Atari games that we grew up with right. Those good old days of hanging out for hours at the local arcade as a kid – you can now drink to that. I bought a pack of 4 for $29.98 online.
So I was happily doing my Clinicallix reviews when a buddy came and asked if i wanted a spin around the mall – and i did. So we stopped in at EB Games and i saw a commercial running in the store – where you are overloaded with games you had to store them in your freezer – poor you! but brilliant idea! woohoo! you can bring your games and get a loads in return for all your old games.
Now if i was a child – you know i would certainly fall for it – no doubt about it – the commercial was done so well – mannnn ! you could have fooled me. But for those who are not aware of this – EB games of Game stop they are the same people – they pay you like peanuts for most of your games and for the newer ones – yes – they pay you decent but did you know that they mark it up as good as new prices once they buy them from you? yes – the turnover is so great – you wouldn’t even think you had a great deal if you sit and think about it seriously! so no – EB Games and Game Stop love them for certain things – but not for others. I’ll suipport the small guys of the town.
Never heard of Cafe World ? Ello!! where have you been ? or where are you from? hahah!! but seriously Cafe World is is nothing like a bpi certification but a free game on Facebook. So if you are on Facebook – you probably have seen your friends requesting that you join them as a neighbor. So why is everyone on Cafe World i hear you asking – well it’s free – and who can resist a free game right and just about anyone can play it – you don’t even need to be a tech savvy chick or dude to play it. Plus it’s fun because if you’ve ever wanted to be your own boss and wanted to own your own cafe – what better way then to try it on Cafe World and decorate the cafe to your whims and fancies. For those who loves art and decorating – this is also a game for you. What about those who loves food – well ! of course! it’s all about cooking too right? So you see – it does attract the massive and almost someone has some kinda love for something in Cafe World. So if you are not on it – check it out and get all your free food, or send some food to your friends and earn cash too. Be a successful cafe owner while you are at it. See you there.
Swinxs is a swiss product – didn’t expect anything else – for the Swiss is well known for all these high tech and expensive toys for kids. You won’t be expecting some cheapie like the ones made in China that’s for sure – for all Swiss toy in my humble opinion is made for not only interactive purposes but also educational. This new high tech toy is supposedly to be durable and kids from age 3 upwards could enjoy it themselves or with just one friend or all their cousins. Great for kids parties i heard.
Playdates are never more fun and easier for moms now with Swinxs eh. The first device for playing outdoors as well as inside, it provides hours of recreational use with lights and a built-in voice that explains games, recognizes players and serves as a referee. A pretty steep price in my opinion but if you are one for a lot of friends for yourself and kids – definitely worth investing – you can buy it online.
So the spouse finally bought the Final Fantasy XIII but since he didn’t use any money to buy it but trade in his old games for this new one – i don’t have to give up my acne treatment heh. While in some countries I hear that some people where lining up during the launch for the game – we didn’t see any of this sort here in this small town. Does it mean that Final Fantasy is not popular in Canada..?? Hmmm.. or maybe wrong timing for the game to come out. I know that Final Fantasy had been around like forever – and I also know that the earlier games were played more on PC and not on any consoles for the longest time. So how good is the game? I’ve read both the good and bad reviews of the game but I personally haven’t played it yet – I asked the spouse what he thought of the game and his reply was pretty impressive. I don’t know how many hours one needs to clock to finish it but i’ll let you know.
See this..?? this is not exactly how my living room or tv room looks like, actually it’s worst! why? because the man insist on loving his gadgets. From his PS3 machine, to his xbox 360 and his regular xbox and also the Wii now and don’t forget the stereo, the speakers and the sub -woofer too. Yes! it’s an eye sore alright ! even the best eye creams cannot help with the hurting. So i’m on the quest to get some cables organizers and i’ve seen some but none that I think will work for us because there are just too many cables everywhere!! and now that we have a plasma tv and the man have decided that he doesn’t wants his bridge tower – so the cables are just massive .. HELPPPP!!
Never heard of? well, time you know about them because they just won $100K in an award package competition. Brothers Jason and Matthew Doucette and their company Xona Games placed first in Zone 2 in the 1-3 Technology Start-Up Competition. The develop the game for xbox 360 and is also working on an arcade style game right now. Check out their games for just $1 – and yes, we know these guys personally and they are awesome fellas..!
We bought the Wii Fit Plus for Christmas.. since we had gotten a copy of Wii Fit second hand and loved it. I know it is not completely accurate .. but what the heck right..?? it is fun.. and it gets my fat bum up and moving.. ahhahahah!!! Staying healthy.. and getting up and doing something is just as important as looking at some term life insurance quotes to safe guard my kid’s future.
The Wii Fit Plus is supposed to be able to let you lined up a few exercises.. and even though i haven’t tried it.. i think it should do me some good. This copy we paid like $14.98 for it.. during Boxing Day sale at Walmart. We returned the one that we had bought for full price at Superstore. .hahahhaa!! sneaky eh.
