We don’t really have a music store around town - and the one that we have it’s pretty small - so thank God for internet where one can get just about any musical instrument that you want - like the alvarez guitar that I’ve been eying on for a long time now. I have a fender as you can see on the top - so if anyone is interested in trading - I really won’t mind trading. The Alvarez guitar is about the same price of the Fender that I have and if I’m into classical - actually the spouse wants to take up classical - so I’m getting one for her - and since I’m not using the Fender - I’m selling that one online too. We thought it would be a great start of the year to get a new mattress for the new year - maybe a memory foam mattress this time. Why? because they say - the form mattress molds to the shape of your body - thus giving you better support and circulation. It reduces the stress on y our body - giving you a better night’s rest. Now everyone can use a good night sleep right? I’ve been having problems with my mattress for the last few months - so any mattress at this point of time would be a good change.
The spouse told me that she wanted to go tint her eyelashes in which I asked her what eyelashes? because her eyelashes are so short - you could hardly see it - so if she went for the tinting would it make a difference? In which she got upset - because I was being honest - so she wants to look for eyelash growth products to prove me wrong and make me regret for saying my mind. So for those who don’t want to get smack by the spouse - the next time the spouse tells you she wants to do anything to her face - or facial hair -just nod and say - yes dear. Else you are going to be like me - ending up looking for eyelash growth products every time you go shopping with her. JOY!
It’s almost Christmas and the year is coming to an end. A customer asked me today what were my plans for the new year - and I told him I was going to do better with my store. And as for him - he wants to take an Online English degree so that he can go overseas to teach. If I loved traveling and were any younger - I would definitely take that route - it seems that Western English teachers are welcome in the Asian country and to spend a few years going for an upgrade is worth every penny because I have seen many of our customers here travel abroad to teach English as a second language. Isn’t it awesome that we have the internet and we can do just about everything and anything. Well, Happy New Year and a Blessed Christmas to all.
It is that time of the year again - where your local hospital is raising funds to get new Howard Medical cpu cart, computers and other medical optional products they may need. And although I don’t mind donating - I wonder why the hospital still need to raise so much funds because they are already charging a lot for consultation, staying in the hospital etc. If they are really raising funds to buy better equipments for the patients than I have no qualms giving but if they are raising funds for partying - then I’m totally against it. So instead of giving money - I prefer to check with the hospital’s spokesperson and find out what they need and are going to buy with the money. I prefer to donate something useful like those medical carts, then I will gather some of my rich friends and get them to help me with the donations and buy the equipments for them/ for the patients to benefit the patients.
While the wife had asked for the above Juicy Coulture E-reader case for Christmas, it’s even easier to buy for the uncles for Christmas - with so many cigar brands to choose from I can buy just about anyone they like from here. I used to have trouble buying cigars for my uncles - there was only one place in town to buy them and knowing how my uncles loved the cuban cigars - I’ve found that buying them Christmas presents are so easy - just find them some good cigars and they will be happy with me for the entire year. Some people do not buy presents for their uncles and aunts but in my family - the uncles and aunts are very important people who’ve played a huge part in my life - so during Christmases - I make sure we get something for them.
If you have teenagers at home - you will know what to get them for Christmas presents. What you don’t know??? mannnn!!! where have you been ??? I’m getting the ipod nano 3rd generation for my nieces and nephews - the spouse said not to be cheap - because teenagers do not appreciate a book or a t-shirt or shoes or a dress. A gadget like the ipod nano is the way to go - and money will be well spent because they would use it - and appreciate you - and think you are the coolest uncle or aunt. I wouldn’t buy anything that they would just throw straight into the garbage can - they do that you know - but with an ipod nano - I can be sure - that they would never do that - the older nieces and nephews - I’m getting them a kindle - now - you can get them as cheap as $99 ! So my shopping is done - for I’ve ordered some nano already - all set for Christmas - as far as I am concerned.
So my teenage cousin wants a slumber party birthday on her 18th birthday and wants some Sierra Designs Sleeping Bags for Christmas. That girl is a smart one - for she is asking for a good quality sleeping bag - and not just an ordinary one - before her slumber party. And what better gift to buy for her than something she is going to need and use a lot not only for her slumber party - but during camping for the summer with her grandparents. So we’ve decided to get her the sleeping bags that she wants - and even though it’s a little more expensive than we had hope to spend - I think it’s worth it - if she is socializing and spending time with her family as well.
