Another turntable? yes another – but this one looks really nice doesn’t it – old but modern – a mix of both – perhaps the bold red color is the thing that makes it look so modern. Those who loved vinyl like I do – would love to have this turntable – by Crosley’s. USB powered and as you can see portable too – so you can enjoy this turntable – anywhere – from your girlfriend’s place to the beach – but I won’t recommend it though. At $112 – reasonable enough.

I think it’s time for us to get an iPad – why? because of this coloring app by crayola! the kid loves painting and drawing and if anything can keep her quiet during a long car ride or when we watch a show – it has to be this coloring app. By buying the iMarker stylus for only $29.99 – it works like a marker, a pen, paintbrush, pen and then you use the colorstudio HD app to do all your coloring. The iMarker is like a Crayola marker and it wouldn’t scratch your ipad. Plus there is no mess – and no cleaning up after all the drawing and painting – pretty cool and proud parents can share the coloring or painting with friends over facebook, email or printing them out. I didn’t think we needed one for the car till we were up in the city and using the google maps on the iPhone – that alone didn’t keep the battery charge – and I don’t blame it – because it was something we have left on – to get from one place to another. So having a iPhone car charger is a must for us now if we do travel up in the city – we can’t go without that google maps which helped us save time and money for gas – by not going round and round to get from one place to another. Just plug the charger into your cigarette lighter socket and see the cheeks light up – and you will know that it is charging – great gift for any woman or girls in the family for everyone loves Hello Kitty. For those who have little boys or girls who love cooking a storm up while you do your real cooking in the kitchen – this conveyor belt sushi restaurant – is properly the best thing you can get for them for Christmas. But note that it comes in a box of 1 figurine at a time for about USD $ 5.20 – so if you want all shown – you have to buy 6 of them altogether – which would result ot close to $35 USD. But it’s definitely something unique if you asked me.
Fancy wheels – that’s what my spouse called them when I wanted some for my car – but we all know that they can get get expensive – so I’m always on a look out for wheels for less because fancy wheels are really cool looking right? Now I’m torn in between the red ones and the black ones – both are just as awesome looking and they have it in the size I want too. There is one that I really like but those are not within my range at this moment – so I’m waiting for it to be at a right price and I will get that – but my wheels need some work – so I have to get something. I want them but I don’t need them yet – so I have time to put away money for them.
So our kid wanted us to buy iphone just because she wanted to play the Angry Birds on the iPhone – all because she had a chance to play with it on her cousin’s iPhone. So we had a customer who wanted to sell his iPhone one day at a very reasonable price – and we bought it – only to find out that we can’t just easily changed it to Rogers – because that’s what we have been using for the last 16 yrs. But at least the kid got to play with her Angry Birds app on the iPhone till we got another one that is with Rogers. But the free version was the one that we had started with – and now I just found out that we can buy the app for just $1 – now that’s not bad at all – if you asked me. I wonder how many more of these games one can get at $1 – and found another one – that is at $4.99 called Brushes – for someone who loves painting. But way too expensive just for an app – let me check out the demo version before buying it. But yes ! the iPhone apps are awesome – it keeps the kid busy – while I am driving.
Many years ago – if i wanted a model airplane from any airline – I would have to buy them in pieces and put them together – but not anymore – thanks to the internet – I found another piece of gem for you – costing only $30RM – malaysia ringgit – which is about $9 USD – super duper cheap right – it comes just like that – all put together.
So whether it is Thai Airways – Singapore Airline – or even the British Airway – they have it online.
But make sure you know which size you are buying – for I read that the bigger ones are a lot more expensive.
If you were in Malaysia – they offer free delivery – but of course – being in Canada – I would have to pay for my own shipping – now that would hurt big time. But for collectors – I’m sure you wouldn’t mind paying the shipping. Give me a shout if you are interested.
If you have a kid or kids who keeps telling you that they are bored and you have to do housework or work – and can’t keep them company – I strongly suggest looking into the newgy ping pong . The ping pong robot not only will play ping pong with them and keep them active instead of being in front of the computer and eating chocolates and junk food. Great toy to have too – if you want them to exercise in the winter – especially for a place like ours – with winter so long – up to 6 months. So now they have no excuse about not having something to do – or that they cannot play ping pong and keep busy.
So I’ve heard that the unveiling of the Wii U had caused Nintendo a 10% drop of their share – now that was a big hit – if I may say. But Nintendo’s CEO Satoru Iwata was adamant that it wasn’t because of the unveiling. So what does the Wii U do? besides not having a DVD and blue-Ray playback? According to what I know – it’s not just a console with a tablet peripheral and it will be available next year I think? And it is supposed to be all types of gamers – but not many people know the full potential of the Wii U as of yet. But I hear that the controller is actually the wow factor of the console – with a 6.2″ screen – which can be used to make calls. But graphics are said to be better for the new Wii U – so we will all wait and see.
