The spouse was looking for a way to lose her ugly fat thighs as usual – and considered using the Uzap belt thing – from Osim but of course, like anyone who is going to spend a few hundred bucks on something – she did her research and besides seeing slim girls wearing the slim belt and wondering how it would work – so she decided not to get it of course. I guess for any woman it’s a big thing to stay slim – but if you love food as much as my spouse – you would need a little bit of help and lots of determination.
Dry shampoo can definitely come in handy for someone like me who sometimes oversleep and have no time to jump into the shower before work. Greasy hair definitely don’t do good for my confidence – so I use dry shampoo at $8.99 to revitalize my listless looking hair. No water needed – no mess - definitely great when you need to go for a cocktail after work – and want to look nice and clean.
I thought I should share a little secret with you – about scrub tops and what my mother does with it. Most people think that scrub tops are for nurses and those that works in the hospitals, clinics, medical assistants or even dental clinics and their dental assistants – but let me tell you it is not true because you can buy scrub tops easily now and they are not expensive at all and most importantly they are so comfy that my mother – the gardener wears them during summer when she is doing full them gardening. So there you have it for those who love gardening – try wearing a scrub top this summer and you won’t be wearing anything else when you are outdoors or gardening. Of course, I’m not saying that nurses and hospital staff shouldn’t wear it no more – but they are so versatile and can be use by so many people. My mom swears by it for gardening during summer!
The kid saw some of her friends taking horse back riding class a few weeks ago and wants to enroll in it as well – so we are now looking at buying horse equipment for her and of course making sure that she can take the class as well. We were in luck and could get her into a class this summer – we bought some riding boots for her already – but we are also looking into buying her the safety helmet and saddles. We were shown the horse she would be riding on – and she was definitely excited about it.
Horse riding classes are not cheap at all – but being in the West actually has its advantage – because it would have been a lot more expensive in Asia. Plus the kid’s cousin had taken horse back riding when they were young – and they loved it so much till now – and they are adults and goes for rodeo shows and all. I think it’s worth the money we are paying – because it builds confident in the kid – with animals.
While many people would do anything for their health to keep them healthy – I often wonder why they never get help for a detox program like the oxycontin detox offered in their area. And gone are the days where they let you go cold turkey too and they really make you feel at home and not like you did something wrong too – well, with the right facilities of course. I use to go out with a group of friends who would bet on just about any sports they watch – from football to baseball and even wrestling. People with a gambling addiction not only hurt themselves financially and emotionally – they hurt the people who loved them and eventually – they may even lose their jobs. Gambling addiction is the same as a drinking problem or a drug abuse problem – I seriously think that people with any kind of addiction needs help – needs someone to talk to. Unfortunately, not many in that situation realized that they have an illness – if I do see someone who have any kind of addiction – I would most certainly go talk to them about getting help. Most people won’t because they think it is not their business – but if you love your friends, your son, your daughter, your sister-in-laws or a co-worker – if you care – talk to them – find help for them.
I guess we all know that spring and summers are wedding season and it’s not any different here in Canada. I’ve been asked to be the best man for 2 couples already and had gone for a fitting for the tuxedo last week. I haven’t seen my childhood friend for a long time now – he moved to the city for work and met this wonderful girl in the city but that boy needs some Diet pills that work fast – coz’ he had put on a lot of weight recently. We all know how important a first aid kit is – in the office – in the car – and especially at home – but how many of us have one – ready and full stock? not many – and don’t be ashamed to admit it because we are guilty of it too. Many people do not one to buy a comprehensive first aid kit because they don’t want it to go to waste but instead wait for something to happen and then try and run to a drug store to get it. Understandable too – but what if you are going camping or in the middle of a highway? It’s like getting a better health plan – I know that some of us already have insurance but have you thought of a medicare supplement plans ? Most of us are pretty contented with our health plan – but like a first aid kit – you can get better out of your plan if you check around. I would! because I’m not getting any younger either.
In search for a cruiser bike like this – but doesn’t wanna pay $600 for it – because the electra cruiser – cost as much as $600 or more *sigh* but I’m too el cheapo to pay so much for a bike for the summer. I checked kijiji – and ebay but everyone cost as much – I might as well buy a new one. I’m in love with this bike – and although it may sound crazy to pay so much for a bike – my brother paid $1000 for a shimano bike when he was like 15 yrs old. But having said that – cars back home cost an arm and a leg – so of course he can justify paying that much for a Shimano bike – but over here in Canada – you can get a car for $600 – why would I want to pay $600 for a bike right?
