The things you can do with an RV is almost amazing - and unbelievable - I was WOW by the neighbor’s RV and I’m even thinking I might want one in the near future. I’ve looked at the inside of his RV and saw what he did with it - and the places he went - I’m definitely tempted. The neigbor told me that even if I had trouble on the road, he had this rv towing number that I could use anytime and very reliable.
Having an RV would save us a lot of money with accommodation fees - and traveling would be made easier if you are traveling with kids - because you can stop anytime and anywhere there is parking space. Now I don’t have to get a huge RV because I don’t have a big family - so a medium size RV would just be nice for my family and I, and I won’t have any trouble with driving it. It really looks like I can get an RV now.

Fancy wheels - that’s what my spouse called them when I wanted some for my car - but we all know that they can get get expensive - so I’m always on a look out for wheels for less because fancy wheels are really cool looking right? Now I’m torn in between the red ones and the black ones - both are just as awesome looking and they have it in the size I want too. There is one that I really like but those are not within my range at this moment - so I’m waiting for it to be at a right price and I will get that - but my wheels need some work - so I have to get something. I want them but I don’t need them yet - so I have time to put away money for them.

We have been contemplating about a building a new garage for our cars for the longest time. Having said that it’s because we have more than one car at home - and during the summer - we don’t use our truck a lot. Inspired by what we saw by Olympia metal buildings at a neighbor’s place - we thought we should be able to get one build before the summer begin - alas, we didn’t get it done yet. So when the other neighbor from the other street had his up and going - we had to talk to someone about it. I heard they have some sale on right now - so we just wrote in and ask for a quote. I want my garage to look just like the above picture - coz’ it goes with my entire outdoor theme.

Saw this recommended on Gizmag - even the picture is from Gizmag - very sci-fi looking but you won’t catch me in one of this two seater. Looked too spacey for me - but of course - the electric cars are supposed to promote a greener earth - and I’m wondering how much it will cost consumers like us.

The spouse wants a small car to zip around town - but not the above - and the one that she wants - even with the cheapest auto insurance , I doubt she wants to pay so much for it. I went to Kijiji to search for a small car - but she is into the Ford Mustang convertible or the Mini Cooper - which both models are hard to come by used at a reasonable price. My own auto insurance is reasonable not the cheapest though - so if we are getting a car for her too - I need to really look for a much cheaper auto insurance. This time - we are buying a used car - and paying cash for it - no financing for please. So with cash payment - you know how much one can afford right? She doesn’t want a huge car - she is afraid that she can’t handle it and she can’t drive a standard too - women!!

I pride myself as a pretty adventurous person and before migrating to Canada - I used to dream of having road trips with the spouse and going places with a motor home. I tell myself how bad can it be right? going from places to places - taking in the sights and scenes and experiencing different countries, cities or town but alas, because of work and the business - it’s hard to even go to the city. I envy the spouse’s uncles and aunts who are retired and can do their traveling using their RVs and moter homes - and they know all about motorhome repair - therefore, they have been doing a bit of traveling of late. I told the spouse that I’m going on road trips too - before we retire - else I won’t be able to enjoy it - if I can’t even walk for more than 30 mins each time. Now a motor home like the above - would be awesome!

Inspired by the neighbor’s new garage door - and his garage door opener - the spouse also want to have our garage door changed with automatic doors. Her reasoning was, she didn’t want to see me going out in the bad weather and trying to fight with the old garage door. Plus, she said she can get the same contractor that our neighbor used since we like the design. But it’s an advantage to have a automatic garage door - especially since our home don’t have any trees or house behind or in front of us - to shield us when the weather is bad, so we are looking forward to a new designed garage door and I’ll be a few hundred dollars poorer.

I told the spouse that unless we are going in a Volkner RV - we are not going on an RV vacation like the neighbor is this weekend. Not only do you need to have a 5th wheel insurance and a good one - driving a beast like an RV is no easy feat. So to my neighbors - I salute the entire family - obviously they are a lot more adventurous than we are.
But if you are really going on an RV Vacation - learn the lingo before you hit the road. Yes, the RV world has its own language–where phrases like black water (don’t think too long about this dumping task) are as common as boondocking (camping in your RV without water or electrical hookups). Since you’ll likely be on the road a while, you may as well know how to speak the language–just in case.

Thinking of going for a bike ride near the beach? but no way to bring your bike along? I know the feeling - when we head out to the beach out in Port Maitland - we see bikers all around - with the entire family in tow. But for years - we were too cheap to get a rack put on our car - but this year - we figured we should check out some yakima racks for our bike. Why? the kids are getting older and playing with just balls in the beach may be quite boring for them but investing on a bike rack - well - we can bring all their bikes with us when we head out to the beach or even when we want to just go biking in a trail. Afterall, biking is definitely a healthy sport for the entire family and we each have one bike that we use around our neighborhood - well - the spouse has a mountain bike but a good rack will hold any kind of bike i would think. So yes ! we are getting one since shipping is free too.

I had read a very interesting article online yesterday - written by a young man - I can’t recall what his name is now nor can i find it anymore online - what a shame. But anyhow this is a sum up of what he wrote. Whether it is 4pm or 4am in the morning - you will always find some cars on the road in Singapore - and that even with a population of 4.33 million - there are over 1.3 million cars on the road. Amazing and amusing I’ll have to say - because if you don’t know by now - cars are darn expensive in Singapore and if one can afford a car back home - you can afford a house here in the west anytime. The cost of having a car is so high because one has to pay for the COE (certificate of entitlement) to the government there - a car can cost up to $100K easily if not more and while the spouse doesn’t wash his car at all unless it goes for tuning up - car owners in Singapore pride their cars and take care of them more than their wives (so they humored me). I bet roadside assistance is the business to go into in Asia - because everyone wants a car. But yes, small Singapore a red dot in the map/atlas but thriving no matter which way you look at it but having said that - you must know that the competitiveness can kill - the standard of living is so high - it’s definitely not easy at all. Have a car? take a look at the ones above - this wasn’t a launch - this was just a photo taking session in Asia.
