Of Games & Comics

While jobs are hard to come by these days because of the current economy – i heard that this store up in the city – Halifax is doing pretty well.  I also see a number of fans and ardent followers to this store but we have yet to visit.  A friend who was up in the city doing some interviews for a few sales jobs because he couldn’t find any suitable openings here – told us about this comic store.

As for me – I would take any job regardless – if i was without a job for a long time – but seeing how busy even this small games and comic book store was – made him decide that moving up to the city may be the best thing to do.  Today, someone was in the store – selling off his stuff because he was moving up to Calgary.  I chatted a bit with him – and he too told me he had a hard time finding jobs in this town.  He isn’t the first to leave for a greener pasture – so is it a greener pasture – I’ve yet to see – but moving up to the city cannot be so wrong can it?
